I want to welcome you to the DOC Police website. We are a campus style police department that provides law enforcement support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our officers are Federal Police Officers that are obligated to enforce both Federal and State laws in addition to the Boulder Laboratories rules and regulations. We are dedicated to providing a safe and secure campus as reasonably possible and as governed by the security thresholds mandated by the Department of Commerce.

We have close liaisons with the local law enforcement community, fire department, and various entities on site such as safety and EMSS. We strive to a valued member of our community and seek your help in attaining this goal.  We are only as successful as our community assists us in this endeavor.

I hope you take the time to read through our website to familiarize yourself with the many services we provide as well as how and whom to report incidents too. Since we are Federal campus we do not use the same 911 system you are used to in your community. To report law enforcement emergencies call 7777 from an in-house phone or 303-497-7777 from an outside line or cell phone. Remember this only applies to police emergencies. For fire or medical emergencies call 911 and then 7777. If using an outside line or cell phone call 303-497-7777 after calling 911.

I would also like to take this time to remind everyone that while we maintain a semi-collegiate atmosphere this is still a government research facility and we must ensure to follow the security standards and policies as outline by the Mountain Regional Security Office.
