This book, which supersedes all previous editions of the ASME Steam tables, documents and tabulates the thermodynamic and transport properties of water and steam. The thermodynamic properties are based on the IAPWS Industrial Formulation 1997 for the Thermodynamic Properties of Water and Steam (IAPWS-IF97), the industrial standard recently adopted by the International Association for the Properties of Water and Steam. The book presents background material documenting the calculation of water and steam properties, and presents the important properties in tables and charts in traditional "steam tables" format. The tables and charts are presented both in SI units and in U.S. Customary units.
