CHROMATIC DISPERSION

Customer-Supplied Artifact Testing

The calibration of optical fiber chromatic dispersion is offered as a special test on customer-supplied artifacts. The chromatic dispersion parameter can be reported at selected wavelengths in the range 1515 nm to 1640 nm. In addition, the zero-dispersion wavelength and the slope at the zero-dispersion wavelength can be reported across the range 1520 nm to 1635 nm. This service replaces the Standard Reference Material (SRM 2524) for optical fiber chromatic dispersion.

For more information regarding artifact requirements, costs, and typical uncertainties, please contact Tasshi Dennis.
