POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN HIGH-SPEED WAVEFORM METROLOGY

The NIST Campus in Boulder, ColoradoThe High-Speed Measurements Project in the Optoelectronics Division of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, Boulder, Colorado, invites applications for a postdoctoral position in High-speed Waveform Metrology. The position offers the opportunity to work in ultrafast optics, microwave measurements, and waveform metrology, and the potential to collaborate with international leaders in this technology area.

This position is renewable up to three years. Candidates must have a doctorate in physics, engineering, or applied mathematics and expertise in at least one of the following areas: microwave electronics, ultrafast optics, optical communications, signal integrity, or a related area. Experimental and analytical skills, including experience with statistical data analysis and linear systems theory, are also required. The successful candidate will work well with an inter-disciplinary team and will publish work of scientific and industrial relevance.

Boulder is located just minutes away from mountain biking, climbing, kayaking, and skiing in the Rocky Mountains and the cultural attractions of the Metro-Denver area.
